Liberal Women and Non-Binary Folks of Bucks County Meet and Greet - Oct2025

Welcome to the Liberal Women and Non-Binary Folks of Bucks County Meet and Greet - October! Join us at the home of one of our group members for an afternoon of connection, conversation, and community. This in-person event is a fantastic opportunity to meet like-minded individuals in a relaxed setting. It will benefit us to get to know each other IRL! All are welcome to come together and share stories, ideas, and support.

As always, I'd like to thank the creator/s of this Facebook group for getting us all together in cyberspace! The last meet up was a great starting point. Let's keep it going and continue building community in-person.

Let's get into the details:

One of our group members has very generously offered their home to host us for the afternoon. There will be bathroom facilities available and depending upon the weather, we may be inside or outside. Plenty of on-street parking is available.

For safety reasons, the exact address of the event will only be shared with attendees after registration. The general location is Richboro, PA.

Your host, Jessica, will provide water and non-perishable snacks. Please feel free to bring anything you'd like for yourself or to share (if you intend to share, please bring ingredient list). Also provided will be name tags, suggested icebreakers and a get-to-know-you activity. Everyone can opt in or out to the activity so no pressure to participate if you're more comfortable observing.

Since we don't have to cover the cost of a rental for this venue, the $2 ticket price reflects the cost of light snacks. This platform also charges a fee, so all in the ticket cost is under $4. We do have a limit of 40 people so please grab your tickets asap if this event is important to you. If it goes well we can certainly continue monthly or quarterly based upon the appetite of the group.

You might consider bringing a chair in case we have a capacity crowd and your contact information in the event you'd like to share it with people you meet.

Just as in cyberspace, no bigotry will be tolerated! This is an inclusive event for liberal folks to feel safe and comfortable to connect and chat. We all know the -isms and -phobias that are not cool and I would hope that by nature of being a part of this group this isn't an issue we will have to deal with.

In the interest of full transparency, one of my jobs is as an event planner, so this is something I do regularly. If there is a surplus of ticket money after paying for snacks, I do plan to retain it as a small reimbursement of my time spent setting up this event.
