The W.A. Young & Sons Foundry and Machine Shop 125 Anniversary Celebration & Open House

Mark the anniversary of the W.A. Young & Sons Foundry and Machine Shop with machine and blacksmith demonstrations and an afternoon of history brought to life.

Join Rivers of Steel along the Monongahela River in Greene County as we celebrate the anniversary of the W.A. Young & Sons Foundry and Machine Shop—a National Historic Landmark and one of America’s most astonishing industrial treasures.

Step inside this perfectly preserved machine shop, where the line-shaft-driven network of 25 machines still roars to life during live demonstrations.

At 1:00 p.m., gather with us for a special presentation marking this milestone anniversary and honoring the volunteers and community members who have worked tirelessly to preserve the Machine Shop’s legacy.

Food will be available from the local Boy Scout Troop.
