---) Balku is a Portuguese music producer with deep roots in the psychedelic realm. Raised in a family of artists, he was immersed from an early age in music, and alternative culture. Naturally drawn to sonic experimentation, he found his voice in the raw, hypnotic energy of dark psychedelic trance.
By 22, he was already performing live and independently released his debut EP, Evil Lord.
With deep basslines, shadowy textures, and atmospheric layers, Balku’s sound is more than rhythm, it’s ritual. A journey into the subconscious, crafted to stir the soul and expand perception.
In 2025, he launched a new project with his label partner Opsurrus, called Default Mode. Focused on faster, more digital sounds, it explores BPMs between 165 and 180, delivering intense and electrifying journeys, while keeping the deep, immersive energy that defines his music.
