Peer to Peer nature walk

Peer to Peer nature walking is here!

I am super excited about this. This is a completely FREE opportunity to connect with a lived experience Peer Worker and Nature at the same time!

I am passionate about what I do in peer work and connection to nature but also community and giving back. I am not where I am today because i took every step alone. While it is true my recovery journey has been a lonely one it has also been an opportunity to meet new people, learn of their life experiences and to know I am not alone. So I have decided to start a FREE walking group! I am really excited about this. Walking in nature is one of my favourite past times. Witnessing nature doing its thing and stopping along the way to notice a flower, wildlife or to take a photo so I remember my adventures.

How will it work?
I will set up a Peer to Peer in nature group walking event via Facebook every 4 to 6 weeks. Each event will be based in Adelaide. I will let you know when and where I will be and you decide if you would like to join me for a nature walk and talk. Anyone can join but know I will do this with a focus on improving our mental and emotional wellbeing by being in nature. A mental health and wellbeing walk i guess. Come along with just you or bring a friend or if you have a support worker get them to bring you along and they can join in on the fun. An opportunity for connection in a safe environment surrounded by beautiful nature. I'll arrive at each event and wait for 10 minutes for you to arrive and then off we go. If you like taking photos bring your camera. I love photography so happy to share some tips where I can. I was a photographer in a past life. Taking photos of nature just makes my heart sing.
