On Monday the 6th of October we invite you to an interesting event with two extraordinary women who share their research on different aspects of endometriosis.

The house opens at 19 o'clock and we start at 19:30.
We offer light refreshments during the event.

Admission is free for members of Endósamtökin and 1000kr for others.

About our speakers:

Emma Rivard Henriot, PhD student and member of Endósamtökin’s vice board.

Emma Rivard Henriot is a PhD student at the University of Iceland. Her PhD project focuses on what it is like to have endometriosis (Endo) as a teenager. She is exploring how the onset of Endo during the transformative period of the teenage years affects teenagers’ experiences and identities. She aims to explore this question through interviews with young adults who have been diagnosed with Endo. The research findings will highlight the lived experiences of teenagers with Endo and provide insights into how to improve their lives.
Emma will also share her experience with being a foreigner navigating the Icelandic health care system.
