Dana El Kurd, assistant professor at the University of Richmond in the Department of Political Science, and a senior nonresident fellow at the Arab Center Washington, will hold an open lecture hosted by the Middle Eastern Studies Department and The Palestine Project.
The lecture will take place in Auðursalur, the auditorium of Veröld on Tuesday 14 Oct. at 16.30.
Title: Palestine, Israel, and Failed Peace
This talk will cover the history of the Oslo Peace Accords between Palestine and Israel, their limitations, and their impacts. The talk will also address what we can learn from the Oslo Accords when assessing recent policy proposals, and what that means for the future of the conflict.
