Who will become a New England Motorcycle Group Iron Ladle?
To ensure a fun and smooth event, please review and follow these rules carefully.
Food Preparation
•All entries must be fully cooked and brought to the event ready to serve.
•Participants must provide their own crock pot or warming device to keep their dish hot during the event.
Serving Requirements
•Participants must bring their own serving utensils (e.g., ladles, spoons, etc.).
•Event organizers will provide sample cups, napkins, and spoons for attendees.
Tasting Station
•Each participant will have a 3ft x 2ft table space for their tasting station.
•Participants are encouraged to decorate their station (theme or dish-related decor is welcome!). All decorations must stay within the allotted space.
•Event organizers will provide tables, power strips, and extension cords to ensure all crock pots and warming devices are powered safely.
Promotion
•Participants are required to help promote the event by sharing on social media or other platforms.
Competition Categories
•Participants may enter only one dish per category (Soup, Stew, or Chowder).
Day of the Event
• Participants must arrive by 10:00am to set up their station.
• All stations must be ready for tasting by 11:00am.
• Participants are responsible for cleaning up their station after the event.
Judging and Voting
• Each dish will be judged solely by attendee votes in the People's Choice category.
• Voting will be conducted using ballots provided by event organizers.
• Any attempts to manipulate voting (e.g., multiple ballots) will result in disqualification.
Health & Safety
• All dishes must be prepared in a clean and safe environment (home or commercial kitchen).
• Participants are required to maintain cleanliness at their station during the event.
Miscellaneous
• No open flames or hazardous equipment are allowed at tasting stations.
• Event organizers reserve the right to refuse any dish that appears unsafe for consumption or does not align with the event’s guidelines.
