Menopause is a time of great importance — a profound transition meant to capture our attention. It is not about self-importance or arrogance, but about stepping into wisdom, the very wisdom you’ve been moving toward your whole life. It is a wild time of exploration and newness, unlike anything experienced before. Just as puberty was a dramatic shift in body, mind, and spirit, an undoing of childhood, menopause is an undoing of life as you’ve known it, a passage into a new dimension of the feminine.
This immersion is a threshold experience, one that takes us beyond the limitations of modern Western medical practices. Together, we will explore ancient teachings and women’s wisdoms once passed down from generation to generation — a rich invitation into who you are becoming.
While menopause brings many physical changes, and while modern medicine is beginning to acknowledge that women’s bodies are profoundly different from men’s, scientific understanding is still evolving. Interventions like HRT and other medical supports can bring relief to symptoms, and their importance should not be overlooked. And yet, there are other pathways — ways to release tension, to learn what your body is here to teach, and to awaken into a deeper version of yourself.
Menopause is a vast universe of remembering. While this season can be clouded with confusion, frustration, and even suffering, there is another perspective: perhaps some of the intensity arises from holding onto what was. When we allow ourselves to shift, to surrender, menopause can become a powerful act of transformation — a shape-shifting as profound as the crossing from childhood into womanhood. Now older, wiser, and stronger, we have the capacity to hold the weight of this maturation.
This weekend is an invitation for women who feel the call of the wilderness within — to learn from each other, to journey deeper into themselves, and to begin releasing the ancestral imprints that live inside.
While this course does not focus on diets or trends, we will explore food as medicine and the technology of nourishment. Together, we will also dive into practices and teachings such as:
The impact of toxins on women’s health
Yogic practices and teachings
The wisdom of mythology
Reimagining your cycle and connecting with hormonal shifts
Breathwork and meditation
Reiki with Master Reiki Practitioner, Tamarin Martin
