Our ride to Mima Mounds is in honor of past Member of our Chapter, Dick Gehring. This was one of His favorite Rides and the First Ride that he took Wayne on. Dick was also the Creator of our Annual HOGWash and since it is the 25th Anniversary Year it seemed only appropriate to make this journey again!

Wayne (EHTEAM) has chosen to be the Ride Leader and will be taking us on many backroads to our geological destination. About 70 miles and 2 hours of riding bliss! Mima Mounds are naturally occuring small, irregular hills typically found in areas with glacial outwash. The ride ends at the Mima Mounds site, however, we may gather for a meal at a nearby location after the Ride ends.
