This 1 day online live simulcast course will familiarise participants, especially those with limited prior exposure to naval combat and weapon systems, with context necessary to more effectively support naval combat and weapons systems across all phases of capability management.

No prior knowledge is assumed.

Duration: 1 Day

What you will receive

โ€ข UNSW Canberra certificate of completion/attendance

โ€ข Masters credit: UNSW Canberra allows students who have successfully completed a minimum of 12 days of approved professional education courses to use those courses as credit in eligible postgraduate programs.

Presenter information

Grant Moran is a Chartered Professional Engineer with specialised expertise in delivering complex systems. He has extensive experience covering Defence related areas such as Electronic Warfare, Intelligence and Communications System while serving in the Royal Australian Navy as a Weapons Electrical Engineering Officer, in addition to hands-on experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining complex software applications.

Currently, as Industry Specialist at UNSW's Capability Systems Centre and Founder and CEO of Oscillo Labs, Grant applies his operational knowledge to address complex system integration and delivery challenges. With Master's degrees in Systems Engineering, Project Management and Capability Management, he brings practical insights into both technical and strategic aspects of modern complex system management and product development.
