Midnight Channel (Lethbridge, AB 🌟) — post-bop jazz, improvisation, world rhythm, jazz fusion
Midnight Channel made a powerful debut with their album “Gemini Sunrise”, hitting #10 on the National Earshot! Jazz Charts 🚀 Their sound blends the boundary-pushing spirit of 1960s cosmic free jazz with the vibrant energy of modern jazz. Infused with elements of contemporary post-bop, Japanese fusion, and neo-soul grooves, Midnight Channel brings a sound that’s both rooted in tradition yet refreshingly modern — perfect for longtime jazz fans and first-time listeners alike. Their live performances are an explosion of energy ⚡, soaring improvisations, and contagious joy, transforming the stage into a sacred space where audiences are held spellbound.
Burrow (Regina, SK 🍁) — alternative folk rock, singer-songwriter 🎸 Hailing from Regina, Burrow came together in October 2023 when Emma McGill (vocals) and Slayte Prefontaine (bass) started exploring the local scene. Joined by Joe Roussel and Theo Deiana, they’ve spent the past year crafting their debut project and are ready to share their first single, “The Long Drive Home” 🚗.
KOYOT (Regina, SK 🍁) — indie/alternative, expansive soundscapes, soulful rhythms, Cree & Métis rooted lyricism. Their latest release, Positano, reimagines Homer’s Odyssey through the sun-drenched Amalfi Coast, blending mythical longing with modern vulnerability. Currently recording their debut EP (Jan 2026), KOYOT is a voice for connection, cultural pride, and artistic exploration.
