We are offering Db Drag Racing, Bass Race, Top Dog, Freestyle and Pyschlone. All formats offered have classes inside them to make it a fair and even playing field for stereos of all levels!
Db Drag Racing is your "burp" score. Loudest overall score using either Test Tones or Music within a 30 second time frame. All windows and doors must be sealed and the sensor (mic) is placed on the windshield 12inches from the a pillar and 4 inches off the dash with a specific Db Drag Racing Mic Jig.
Bass Race is your head to head competition. In this format 2 competitors compete against each other in a specific class (129.99,139.99,149.99 or 159.99db) to see who has better control over their own system. Both competitors get 30 seconds to maintain one of the specific scores or as close as they can with a rolling average. This means the computer takes a test sample every 0.5 seconds and records the data to determine the average score over 30 seconds. The competitor closest to the class delta wins the round and moves on. Vehicle must be fully sealed as well with the mic on the windshield in the legal position.
Top Dog is similar to Bass Race where the competitors are trying to maintain and get as close to there delta (129.99,139.99,149.99 or 159.99db) without going over but now its a free for all. All classes face against each other the winner of each round stays in the lane until he/she is knocked out of the Top Dog position. The closer you stay to your delta the more points you acquire. Finish the double elimination with the most points and you can be Crowned the TOP DOG for the day!
Freestyle is like Db Drag Racing where the goal is to get your loudest score using either test tones or music but only have 30 seconds to do so. But different from Db Drag Racing, Freestyle uses what the Judging staff call the globe. The globe is a 8" round device that is used to mic exactly in the middle of the globe. Competitors can then place the globe anywhere infront of the B-Pillar of the vehicle and proceed to try to achieve their loudest score. Windows and doors are allowed to be open. All competitors are allowed 2 attempts to set there loudest score.
Pyschlone is for the competitors that like to demo and show off truly how loud and low there systems can go! Pyschlone is designed to torture test your system with its 1 minute average trying for your loudest overall spl at the lowest frequency possible with the possiblity to gain bonus for each frequency below 80hz you play. Drivers door must remian open and the mic must be in the legal position on the windhsield. Competitors are allowed to use "Blockers" (people standing in the drivers door area to try and capture all the spl into the cab of the vehicle) as well as "Pushers" (people pushing on various parts/panels of vehicle to try and stop or eliminate vehicle flex).
All systems are welcome and will be placed in categories against other like systems.
There is no system to big or small, we welcome them all!

World Finals for Db Drag Racing 2025 will be Held on October 11th and 12th at one of the satelite locations. Locations being: Spruce Grove Alberta, and Birmingham Alabama (I believe there are 2 more locations as well)
Dont forget that Saturday September 6th 2025 is a 3x event in Saskatoon Sk as well. Show will be held at Audio Warehouse and will be $60/format.
Season cutoff for points is September 28th 2025 so get your points now and dont forget to get yourself certified as well to be eligible for finals!
