The Provincial Archives of Saskatchewan, SK Arts and the University of Regina Archives & Special Collections are launching a joint exhibit on February 4.
ART REALITIES exhibits artwork and archival records of Victor Cicansky, Lorraine Malach, Art McKay, Wynona Mulcaster, Margreet van Walsem, and Russel Yuristy. These artists were part of an oral history project conducted in 1973, Art and Artists of Saskatchewan. Thirty artists were interviewed about their life, artistic journey, and philosophy about the interrelation of art and reality.
The exhibit launch will include a panel discussion with artists Patrick Fernandez, Vera Saltzman, and Yuji Lee who will recreate the 1973 oral history project ā over 50 years later ā and discuss how times may have changed.

This event is free to attend; no formal RSVP is necessary.
The exhibit will be on display until July 31, 2026.
