About Mel D:
Nein, hier kommt nicht das verschollene Schweizer Mitglied der Spice Girls, hier kommt Melanie Danuser, ihres Zeichens Graubündner Singer-Songwriterin. Bekannt ist sie jedoch, und zwar als die eine Hälfte des Elektropop-Duos Mischgewebe, und dann steht sie auch noch als Musikerin in der Band von Faber auf der Bühne. Zwischendurch entdeckte sie ihr Talent für das akustische Solo-Format und ihre Zuhörer*innen gleich mit. Denn so berückend, so nahbar ist sie, so offen und überzeugend, mit melancholisch warmen Melodien und ihrer einfühlsamen Stimme, von der man nicht genug bekommen kann, so ergreifend ist sie.

Based in Southwest France, Gregg Weiss’ iUteurki is an adventure in songwriting and improvisation. A hard hitting power trio with a spacious unpredictable sound making them hard to pigeonhole.
Originally from NYC, Gregg started touring in Europe as a singer songwriter in the early 2000’s. He eventually became known for his group Tildon Krautz, another modern, genre bending string band most closely associated with bluegrass and quirky free folk.
With iUteurki is urban, folk, free improvisation and skillful songwriting all wrapped up in a tight package, ready to give you something unexpected to trip along with.
