Join us for the ‘Steps for Pets’ 5K Walk/Run! 🐾
Lace up your sneakers (and leash up your pup!) for a fun and meaningful event supporting the Redwood Area Animal Shelter. This 5K is open to all ages—you can register yourself and your children. Well-behaved, dog-, child-, and people-friendly dogs are welcome to join in the fun! We have partnered with Functional Fitness to build a wonderful event! A signed waiver is required to participate. Event start at 9am for walkers, 9:15am for runners!
We’ll start at the Redwood Area Animal Shelter, head North and circle the Activeaid loop, go around Legion Park, head East on Oak Street, cross the scenic walking trail, and finish right back where we started—at the shelter, where tails will be wagging and spirits will be high.
Perks for Early Birds: Discounted participation fee and early birds will receive a FREE t-shirt! Be sure you sign up early to guarantee your exclusive event t-shirt and discount on participation fee.
Adults (18+ or older): $30 (early bird price) + FREE t-shirt OR $40 same day registration
Children (17 or younger): $15 (early bird price) + FREE t-shirt or $20 same day registration.
Early Bird discount & T-Shirt deadline is: September 5th.
Not a walker but would love to support the shelter? No problem! We have set up two ways to ensure you're included! You can simply make a donation and/or purchase a shirt! Shirts CAN be shipped to any address in continental USA.
All proceeds go directly to helping homeless pets find their forever homes. Come run, walk, and wag for a cause! 🐶❤️
After the walk, quench your post-walk thirst with a delicious treat from Rise Nutrition - Redwood. They’ll be on site with drinks to purchase.
