Hosted by Cascadia College, in partnership with University of Washington Bothell and the Cascadia College Foundation. Admission is free, though we have a suggested donation amount of $10, to support Crow Research directly with Dr. Doug Wacker, and supporting student education and sustainability programming at the Bothell Campus. With funding opportunities for biological and scientific research declining, this event hopes to support funding Dr. Wacker's research to continue hosting similar events. We welcome any donation amount, please support Crows and sustainability with no pressure if you are unable! Attendance is limited, please register below!
Event Information: We're excited to welcome Dr. Doug Wacker from the University of Washington Bothell to speak on the crow roost that has moved from the Bothell campus to Redmond. He'll be available to speak at the event while viewing the crows arriving at their roost, and will give a lecture on his research on crows afterwards.
This is a two part and two location event, bird watching as the crows come to roost in their new location in Redmond, and a lecture on the local crows thereafter at a second location (Together Center). The bird watching will be in the outdoors at dusk, please dress appropriately and bring a flashlight - Bird viewing should be possible from the parking location, but there is a busy street adjacent.
