Dear Friend,
Next volunteer morning (all welcome!)
10-1pm Thur 4th September
Meeting at Huddlestone Crescent wildlife garden, Huddlestone Cres, Merstham
We're back again continuing hedge trimming and pruning. Cherries and plum trees (stone fruits) need pruning in summer to prevent silver leaf disease - whereas apple and pears can be pruned at the ideal time of late winter.
Also continue mowing doing it's cut and collect before the winter.
Great to see anyone who's interested in joining. Fine to come for only part of the session if you're busy.
Free refreshments at half time!
All welcome, no experience or equipment required, everything explained, just need appropriate clothing for the weather. Children very welcome with a supervising guardian adult accompanying them.
Future Events (these may change)
TBC
Lovely to see you if you can make it,
Drummond (chair)
Also check out other Meetups in Redhill.
