California Girls "Wheel of Ashes" Album Launch

Celebrating the release of his long-awaited third solo album Wheel of Ashes, California Girls descends upon the Chippo stage as a four-piece live band for one night only, transforming his turbo electronic stylings into a moody and visionary strand of deconstructed “raw” post-punk. The California Girls band, a veritable supergroup of the Sydney scene, features members of Society of Cutting Up Men, Perfect Actress, Worlds Only and album engineer Grasps on standing drums (shout out and RIP Holy Balm). They’ll be joined by dark ambient noise lord Obelisk on support, and another mysterious act soon to be revealed…
