Event is to raise money for Lee Russon’s family.Lee unfortunately lost his battle with leukemia earlier this year leaving his beautiful family without him.
Lee wanted this walk to happen so let’s make it happen☺️
Redditch council have been very supportive and helpful with helping with this event. They have offered to open the bar and cafe during the time of walk so if you don’t have to rush off after we would like to raise a toast to Lee and his family at the end. We want to event to be a fun as it can be and sharing good memories and stories about Lee on the way round. There will also be a memory book also at the starting point if you would like to leave a message or memory of Lee in there. We have some glow sticks to give out to the kids but please bring as many touches as you can also if you have a hi vi jacket please wear if you want. Lee would of loved some of you in football tee-shirts (especially blues supporters 😂)
We are only suggesting £5 per family for the walk to meet our go fund me target for the family.
All we ask if that parents that have children under 10 years old to wear an orange ribbon which will be provided by us. Also to parents to keep a close eye on young ones. Please put any rubbish in bins provided around the lake.
Be lovely to see you all there on this event that Lee wanted to do so much 🧡 if able to walk to event please do as will help in parking or travel with friends.
