Relay for Research Lunchtime Walk

Join SETsquared Bristol for the next leg of the UK-wide Relay for Research!

Each site takes on 100 miles of activity, and at SETsquared Bristol we’re walking our way to the goal. You can join for as little or as much of your lunch break as you like. Every mile helps early-career scientists fund translational research that brings discoveries closer to patients.

This event is part of a nationwide campaign called “This is for Science”, working in partnership with Cancer Research UK to raise money for translational cancer research. The relay passes from site to site across the UK: the first event was hosted at The Francis Crick Institute, followed by Discovery Park, Kent, then Surrey Research Park, and now it’s SETsquared Bristol’s turn to take the baton!

• Distance: Walk at your own pace; 1 mile is perfect, but any distance counts
• Donation: Please donate to our SETsquared Bristol team fundraising page. Suggested £5 per mile, but any contribution is welcome.
  

What to bring:

• Comfortable shoes
• Water bottle
• Device to scan the donation QR code (optional)
