Open Recreation
The Open Recreation Program is an after school program available to all Middletown Township residents. The program provides a place for children to complete homework or play while being supervised. A monthly calendar is provided each month, including the activities for the day such as crafts, games, nature activities and parties!
First day of 2025-26 Open Recreation: Tuesday, October 7th 2025
NEW LOCATION: Meet us at Poricy Park Nature Center, 345 Oak Hill Rd, Red Bank NJ 07701 for a new Open Rec experience filled with the same homework help, but more nature-based adventures!
Hours of Operation:
Open Recreation Program - Juniors (Grades K-5)
Tuesday - Thursday, 3:00pm-5:00pm
Free for residents! Not accepting non-residents at this time.
Open Recreation Rules are parallel to school rules and are applied at all times. Children must be registered and understanding of these rules prior to participating in the program. Registration is free, please complete our registration form and bring with you on your first day!
