Just Sing Community Singalong

𝐃𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠? 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭, 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞, 𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐨? 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜? 𝙅𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙎𝙞𝙣𝙜 is a chance to get together and sing the songs you’ve always wanted to sing in a group with no long term commitment or musical knowledge required. Inspired by the wave of similar musical gatherings taking place around the world - One Night Choir, Popup Choir, Songs for Humans, Choir!Choir!Choir! - and many others, we come together each time as a unique group to share in communal and creative moments of musicmaking.

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤? Lyrics will be accessible on your phone via QR code as well as by TV. We’ll mostly sing in unison and occasionally learn some simple harmonies together. We’ll start out with familiar songs across many eras - classic and current pop/rock, folk, R&B - and incorporate the interests of the group in finding other favorites that are enjoyable to sing and uplifting. Just Sing is open to high school ages and above.

We gather in the Upper Studio of the Evendale Cultural Arts Center. Currently the ECAC is not ADA compliant, but construction is underway to add elevator access and reach compliance in the coming months.
