Mugwort Plant Ally Circle
Late Fall · Adult Archetype · Shadow Work ·Descent ·Void · Listening for Soul
This circle is part of The Wild Soul’s Journey:
A seasonal series of Plant Ally Circles that follow the soul’s evolution through the archetypes of Child, Adolescent, Adult, and Elder. Each gathering invites you into relationship with a seasonal plant guide and stage of the soul’s journey.
This October, we honor the Fall season threshold. The liminal twilight time when the veil thins and we are no longer who we’ve been, and not yet who we are becoming. This is the void between endings and beginnings, where the unseen stirs and the shadow and the soul beneath it begin to speak.
🌑 About Shadow Work and Intuition
The shadow holds everything within us that has been hidden or pushed aside. The feelings, truths, and even gifts our identities and roles left no room for. Shadow work is not about fixing or judging these parts, but about gently seeing and listening to them. This is a season that honors the subtle communication through symbols, sensations, and intuition, rather than logic. When met with presence, it reveals the deeper wisdom that have been waiting beneath the surface.
Mugwort, keeper of thresholds and expanded states, supports this process by helping us soften and enter into relationship with the liminal space and void of possibility. Through the breath, we open to intuitive insight, listening to the quiet unseen language of the soul.
This circle offers an opportunity to slow down, breathe into the mystery, and receive what is ready to be revealed in this in between season.
We’ll gather in ceremony to connect with Mugwort through:
🌿 A sharing of Mugwort tea and teachings about its medicine and seasonal energy
🌬 A breathwork journey in rhythm with the thinning veil
🌑 Intuition and shadow work to meet what has been unseen
🎨 A creative collage integration to work with the images and symbols that arise
You’ll also be offered Mugwort tea and a take home flower essence for continued integration through the season.
This is a sacred space to:
✨ Rest in the fertile unknown
✨ Listen for what the shadow, soul, and mystery reveal
✨ Honor what surfaces at the threshold
✨ Connect with Earth, breath, and the cycles of soul
No prior experience with breathwork, plant connection or any of the above is needed. All are welcome!
🌿 What to Bring
• A journal and pen
• A mug for tea
• An optional item for the altar
