Willapa Elementary PTO - Parent Support Needed
Willapa Elementary's Parent-Teacher Organization is a key piece to help fundraise, plan, and support many of the fun activities that students experience each school year. The PTO is critical in hosting and sponsoring back to school events, bringing in special presenters for assemblies, and organizing a variety of fundraising events from Boo Grams to Bingo Nights and the yearly school fundraiser. The money they raise also helps to support Trimester AR rewards for students, class spirit prizes each month, and extra funds needed for class field trips.
Over the past two years, the majority of the parents who were actively engaged in the PTO's operations have had their elementary students move on to middle school. So, the PTO needs your help to keep all of these events and programs going to continue their awesome support of Willapa's students. They are in need of three officers and parents to sign-up to help with events. So, whether you would like to be an officer or are able to sign-up to assist with a single event, please support the PTO.
On Thursday, September 18th at 6:00 the PTO will be hosting an informational meeting to increase parent support and membership, appoint new officers, and set event dates for the school year. We look forward to seeing you at Willapa Elementary's lunchroom on this evening and appreciate your support. Let's work together to keep making special events possible for Willapa students.
