We are getting the band back together!
Join us either as a performer or spectator with the band.

Thursday, October 16th TIMELINE
4:45 p.m. – Check-in Muse Band Hall (You will receive your FREE alumni band shirt based on your completed registration form.)
Be prepared to wear your alumni band shirt with pride during the game.
*Anyone needing a school instrument/practice flag/rifle based on your form request will be checked out as well during this time. (Or earlier if possible.)
*We will be sharing practice videos with alumni guard that want to either spin flag or rifle.
(Alumni flag and rifle will also be doing an in-person practice. Email Bekah King (Director of Guard and Hi-Steppers)

*WE WANT YOU TO JOIN US ON THE FIELD EVEN IF YOU DON’T PLAY A NOTE OR MAKE MISTAKES. That is perfectly fine. It is likely many of you have not played in a long time.
5:20 p.m. – Alumni Band rehearsal with current band.
Woodwinds and Brass – Main Band Hall (Working on alumni band half-time feature)

Wind and Percussion – We will be sending you parts to the alumni song and access to our stand tunes starting Tuesday, October 2nd. (Remember, you don’t have to play everything.)
Drumline, Cymbals, Aux. – Percussion Room (Drum cadence and halftime feature)
Guard – Band Hall parking lot
5:50 p.m. – Percussion will join winds in the main band hall to run alumni feature and fight song.
6 p.m. – Guard and Hi-Steppers join band in main band hall. (Quick meeting to go over game plan.) 6:05 p.m. – Quick Break/Line up in Band Hall parking lot to march into stadium.
6:20 p.m. – March into stadium.
6:25 p.m. – Play flight song/some of our easier stand tunes for student tailgate area (outside stadium gates.)
6:38 p.m. – Enter stadium (Alumni band will break off to track as current band takes the field for the national anthem and team tunnel. Assistant band directors will guide band to our seating area.)
7 p.m. – Kickoff.
(During a portion of 1st and 2nd quarter, guard will have an opportunity to continue working as an ensemble on the alumni performance during halftime.)
Alumni winds and percussion will play in the stands with current band. Again, you don’t have to play everything or anything. We just want to celebrate you.
During 2nd quarter – Winds and Percussion will prep for the show. Don’t worry. I will give clear instructions. It will be very easy going onto the field. : )
Halftime:
• Current Band will enter field for Homecoming presentation.
• Immediately after homecoming presentation, the alumni band, guard, and hi-steppers will enter the field to a drum cadence. Alumni guard will have set places to go to. Winds and percussion will have set places to fill in between current members. It will be very easy. I promise.
• Alumni Band and Current Band will perform.
• Alumni Band will exit field to drums.
• Current Band will perform show.
• We will take a break during 3rd quarter. We will have some food, water, and time to socialize with the current band.
• 4th quarter – playing in the stands with the current band.
• Postgame – Line up and march back to the band hall.
• Dismiss/Turn in borrowed instruments.
