Worship with our small faith community Sundays during Advent and remember how some tradition can be good! Candle lighting, liturgy, music... We look at ancient scripture and are reminded how God wants more for and from us in this life, and will prepare us for that when we seek and trust the Holy Spirit.
Love singing Christmas carols? We are trying something new and would love more voices! From 9:50-10 a.m. each Sunday anyone coming early can pick from their favorite Christmas hymns to sing. You don't have to wait and hope it will be selected for worship... Come early and enjoy singing "Joy to the World" or "O Come All Ye Faithful" or whatever your favorites are.
If you can stay after worship, enjoy a snack, coffee and conversation. If you can stay longer—from about 11:15-12 or so—Sunday school (for all ages and abilities) has us currently discussing the scriptures shared in worship (no additional book or homework in advance).
We would love to meet you as we start the new year on the Christian calendar and prepare ourselves for the leading of the Christ Child once again.
