Midlands Academy of Defense: 2025

Come and hone your skills in the great rapier game at the Midlands Academy of Defense, 2025! There will be classes, instructional drills, an open pickup list, and opportunities to learn all day long as well as the traditional vote for Thorbjorn's Favor.


Accessibility: The site is mostly flat park grass with some mild hills near the water. The restrooms are port-a-johns only.

Food: Food and drink are welcome on site. There will be a donation optional lunch on site.

Evening Potluck: There will be an evening potluck picnic at 6:30pm. Everyone is welcome. Please bring something to share (with ingredients list) if you are able.

Parking: There is a large lot at the entrance of the park. If that lot fills, there is additional roadside parking all along the lane. Please park nose-in to try and maximize space for everyone.
