Dear Sisters,
You are warmly invited to gather in a sacred circle for a celebration of Beltane — the turning of the wheel toward summer.
Beltane signifies the height of spring, when flowers and plants are in full bloom, and the focus turns to fertility, creativity, and growth.
It is a celebration of life’s vibrancy and the sacred union between the masculine and feminine.
Together, we’ll honour the spirit of Danu — Mother Goddess of the Tuatha Dé Danann — Freya, Venus, and many other fertility Goddesses through meditation, reflection, sharing, and intention-setting.
What to Bring:
A journal to capture insights and “aha” moments
Something for the altar — a flower, a written intention, or a small item that represents life and fertility
A yoga mat and cushion (there will be some chairs available),
A blanket for warmth and coziness during meditation
A snack to share
Your water bottle
An open heart and a longing for connection

Date; Saturday 1 November 2025
Time: Please arrive by 1:45 pm to be settled with your cacao by 2:00 pm.The circle will close at 5:00 pm, and you’re welcome to stay and chat until 5:15 pm.
Venue: The Gables Arcade, High Street, Rangiora (Upstairs room with lift access and plenty of parking nearby)
Exchange: $30 for Red Tent members | $35 for non-members
Includes a welcome cup of cacao.

The Waimakariri Silver Tent welcomes all who identify as women—Maiden, Mother, Queen-ager, or Crone. Together, we sit in a circle.We share our journeys, build connections, and honour the turning of the seasons here in Aotearoa.
As part of the Red Tent Aotearoa community, the Silver Tent holds sacred space for women transitioning through menopause, embracing their Crone years, and stepping into their roles as wisdom-keepers and elders. While Red Tent gatherings traditionally align with the New Moon, Silver Tent circles gather at the eight sacred festivals of the Wheel of the Year— inviting reflection, connection, and celebration at these potent turning points. Each Silver Tent is a reflection of the women who co-create it—unique, authentic, and alive. And yet, we all come seeking the same things: a sense of belonging, the space to be heard and seen, The slowing down and softening that replenishes our inner well, and the simple joy of sharing time and space in sisterhood.
This Silver Tent gathering is held in honour of Beltane—a time of celebration, of life and fertility.
