Artful Visible Mending

Join the White River Craft Center & Brainstorm Art Supply for a cozy afternoon of Artful Visible Mending! Learn to repair your favorite clothingitems with simple, beautiful stitching. Clean out your closet, hamper, or mending basket, bring your worn or torn clothes, and learn patching and stitching techniques from teaching artist Sue Schlabach to artfully repair a rip or thinned-out area, rendering it strong, beautiful, wearable and useful again!

You will leave the workshop with skills to repair your clothes artfully for years tocome! No sewing experience necessary.

Materials supplied:

• sewing needles

• needle threader to share

• pins

• variety of thread/embroidery floss

• scraps of fabric for hidden or visible patches
