While dressing nicely or whimsically will add to the ambience of this event, it is not required. Our Tea raises money for our impactful programs and projects such as:
+Live Your Dream cash award: A needs-based cash award for head-of-household women who are the primary breadwinner for their family and are attending a college or trade school to earn an associate or bachelor's degree or professional certification to help improve their life to provide a better life for their family.
+Dream It Be It: Career and life preparation workshops for secondary school-age students (focuses on girls, but all genders welcome)
+"Operation Holiday Stocking" Soroptimists Serving Women Who Served: Holiday stockings filled with essential items, comfort goods, and small seasonal gifts to women veterans. Beyond meeting practical needs, the project affirms dignity, honors service, and empowers female veterans by showing they are seen, valued, and celebrated. This initiative uplifts women who have served, reminding them that their community stands beside them during the holiday season and beyond.
+Trafficking Awareness: Trafficking education events to raise public awareness of this heinous crime, what the public can do to stop it and how to keep your family safe.
+Comfort Kits: Tote bags filled with personal care/hygiene items given to domestic violence, sexual assault and trafficking survivors
Also enjoy a beautiful classical music interlude throughout the tea performed by the Sacramento School of Harp students!
