Murphy our Mascot is having a Fun Day that will incorporate a load of fun events with the Main one being The Mane Murphy Mascot Trot! An inclusive run/walk dressed in a Murphy Costume - that the entrants get to keep!! This one isn’t a Race and we want Anyone who wants to, to be able to complete it! It’s what you CAN do that counts!
For the Competitive amongst us - there is a Team Relay for 4 Murphys which will most definitely be a Race! Prizes for the Winning Team & also some spot prizes for style and determination! There are no limits on where your 4 team members start so passing the Baton at the start can totally count! Get entered into this ahead of the Day!
There will be Barrel Racing to Enter on the Day depending how fast you’re feeling! Categories for Everyone & extra prizes so make sure to give it a go!!
The Event is at Ramsey Rugby Club on October 12th 2025 from 10am-1pm! Open to the public but the fun is getting involved & becoming Murphy for the Day! It is not compulsory to enter in any of the events.
The Day will include;
* The Mane Murphy Mascot Trot
* Team Relay Steeplechase (Teams of 4)
* Barrel Racing (All Ages & Extra Prizes for Style & Determination!)
* Hobby Horse Paddock
* Stalls & Games
* Ice Cream & Refreshments
A fun day out for all of the family, even if you don’t fancy a trot!
