BIM Application in Civil Engineering Course

The School of Continuing Education at The British University in Egypt, in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering, proudly presents:
"𝐁𝐈𝐌 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞."

𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬:
• Course Duration: 4 Weeks, total 36 hours (3 days per week, each day 3 hours)
• Course Schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays
• Timing: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
• Starting Date: 18/8/2025
• Target Audience: Youth, Undergraduates , employees

𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐎𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬:
1. Acknowledge Revit and Navisworks as examples of a typical BIM application.
2. Minimize design errors, and enhance collaboration between structural engineers and extended project team
members as architects, MEP engineers, and owners.
3. Create a precise, collaborative and intelligent 3D model, which is helpful throughout the entire life cycle of a
project.
4. Understand the impact of BIM in Design, Construction Engineering and Management, Infrastructure Engineering, and Facility Management.
