Has AllTrails lied to you, and now you’re both in over your head but also too in too deep to turn around? Or maybe your phone died, and was it left or right at the junction?

Don’t end up on the national news because you got lost on a day hike. Get the knowledge and skills you need in this class.

Join us to master using a compass, orienting a map with precision, pinpointing your location and planning your journey through diverse terrain. Please wear clothes appropriate for weather conditions and bring a small backpack with water, sunscreen, bug spray and a snack. If you have your own compass, bring it too. This class typically runs between 3 and 4 hours depending on skill level and knowledge of participants. Please budget your day for 4 hours. A small class size may take only 3 hours, but we may need 4 if class is full.
