About the mission


On Christmas 2023 CW4 Illerburnn (Apache Pilot) was critically wounded by an Iranian drone strike in Erbil, Iraq. After an immediate MEDEVAC to Germany. Since December,25 2023 Garrett has been slowing making his way back home through various levels and stages of care. On October 5th we will be taking him for one day from the facility in Raleigh, back home to honor his service and celebrate his retirement. The ceremony is critical to honor Garrett's service but the sacrifice his wife and son Tucker have and will continue to make.

We humbly ask for your service to escort Garrett from Raleigh to his retirement ceremony in Pinehurst to give this Soldier the long overdue welcome home he deserves.
