💚Join us for a magically musical night of wine, whimsy, and all things Wicked at Vino & Verdigris, a one-of-a-kind tasting event presented in collaboration with Sara Abernethy — local restaurateur, wine expert, and accomplished singer/performer — alongside Theatre Raleigh.

🩷In celebration of the upcoming release of Wicked: For Good this fall, guests will be guided through a tasting of four hand-selected wines, each thoughtfully paired with your favorite iconic numbers from Broadway’s beloved Wicked. Whether you’re Defying Gravity or Popular in your Pinot preferences, there’s a glass for every Emerald City enthusiast.

Costumes are highly encouraged! Come dressed in your wildest Ozian attire for a chance to win our costume contest — Glinda glam, Elphaba edge, flying monkeys and all!

🍷Grab your fellow musical lovers and wine aficionados and prepare to sip, sing, and sparkle in green — it’s a night sure to leave you changed… for good.

About Sara Abernethy: Hailing from Raleigh, Sara’s is the Owner of winding professional path began as an opera singer and theatre artist. When not on stage, she found a natural niche in the hospitality industry creating magical guest experiences on the restaurant floor or behind the bar. Sara has lived, performed, and poured a stiff drink across Europe, in New York City, and California. In 2017, she returned to Raleigh where she was greeted with a once in a lifetime opportunity to elevate one of the city’s landmark restaurant spaces into Wye Hill Kitchen & Brewing. Sara is a certified wine slinger and holds a Level 3 Certification from the Wine, Spirit & Education Trust as well as the French Wine Scholar
