Empowering a CyberSafe Community
“Cyber awareness is community care”
Nehemiah 4:9 – “Nevertheless we made our prayer to our God, and because of them we set a watch against them day and night.”
Overview:
We live in a world where more and more of our daily lives are connected to technology — from our phones and computers to our banking and healthcare. With these blessings come new challenges. Cyber criminals often target vulnerable communities, and older adults are some of the most at risk. As followers of Christ, we are called to watch over and protect one another (Philippians 2:4). Just as Nehemiah’s people stood guard to protect their city, we too must be alert and equipped to protect ourselves and our community in the digital world.
That’s why First Congregational Church is hosting The Cyber Care Project — a special event designed to provide the Southeast Raleigh community with the tools, wisdom, and confidence to navigate the online world safely.
What to Expect:
Expert Cyber Professionals: Learn directly from cybersecurity specialists about how to recognize scams, protect your personal information, and keep your devices secure.
