Mike Krause & The Third Expression have been featured on North Carolina Public Radio’s “The State of Things” and perform original music ranging from classic Americana, Rock, Noir Jazz and Cinematic soundscapes to a diverse array of wider influences. ‘Instrumental Americana’, the 2024 album of Mike Krause penned and produced original compositions, features Dan Davis (drums), E. Scott Warren (bass) and special guest John Neff (Mike Mill’s ‘R.E.M. Explored’, The Bad Ends (w/R.E.M.’s Bill Berry), Booker T Jones (on the Grammy winning album ‘Potato Hole’ also featuring Neil Young), Bloodkin, Drive-By Truckers, Japancakes) on pedal steel.
