Día de los Muertos

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with us at Occoneechee Council! On October 31, we’re hosting a vibrant Día de los Muertos event at the council office.

Kids and families are invited to come by—costumes welcome but not required—to enjoy candy, create lasting memories, and learn about the rich traditions behind this unique celebration. Discover the stories and symbols that make the Day of the Dead such a powerful tribute to family, memory, and heritage.

This is a fantastic chance for Scouts and their families to connect with culture, community, and fun all in one unforgettable afternoon.
