2025 Anthemion Awards

Come celebrate the 30th Annual Anthemion Awards Presentation to this year's winners at the NC State University Club!

Anthemion Awards recognize outstanding dedication and commitment to excellence in historic preservation in Wake County. The name “Anthemion” was inspired by a classical design element seen on many Wake County buildings, including the State Capitol dome in Raleigh.

From Adaptive Reuse of Commercial Properties to Town Plans, and Residential Rehabilitation to Lifetime Achievement – winners of Capital Area Preservation’s Anthemion Awards have all made notable contributions to the preservation of Wake County’s architectural landscape
