Karina’s Little Free Book Fair is a free, community-centered event created in loving memory of Karina Josephine Lopez (2020–2022). Our goal is simple:
Every child who attends will go home with a free book — no cost, no requirements, no questions asked.
We believe every child deserves the joy of reading and the chance to discover stories that reflect who they are, where they come from, and what they feel. This includes diverse books, military child–friendly stories, bilingual books, and books that support emotional well-being.
This event honors Karina’s bright, joyful spirit by giving back to the children of Hoke County and helping spark a lifelong love of reading.
