KMEA All State 2nd Round & All State Jazz Auditions

The KMEA All-State 2nd Round & Jazz Band Auditions are an essential step in selecting Kentucky’s most elite high school musicians for both concert and jazz ensembles. Students who advanced from the first round will showcase their musical mastery through prepared pieces, technical exercises, and improvisation (for jazz). These auditions determine placement in the prestigious All-State ensembles, offering students the chance to perform at the Kentucky Music Educators Association Conference among the state’s finest young performers.
