Do you have some fantastic 40K miniatures and are wondering how to play, or do you have a collection that needs more table time? Come on out & try Warhammer 40,000 at The Sanctum on September 22nd, we’re here to help get you started on a wargaming journey!
Event: Miniatures Monday Learn to Play with Matchups
Theme: Heroes
Platform: Warhammer 40K
Game Style: 1000/2000 points
Date: Monday, August 18th
Time: 6 - 9:30 pm
Description: You don’t have to travel through the warp to find heroes in the worlds of Warhammer 40,000, and they come in all shapes and sizes. There is space on the table for them all….until the dice start rolling that is. This month we want to see the epic showdowns between the biggest Ork and bravest Captain and everything in between. Players are encouraged to add as many units with the Character keyword in their army as they can. Of course this is not mandatory but a fun shake up for list building and game play.
This is an event for new and experienced players! Join in to learn Warhammer 40K or put your skills to the test!
Price: No charge to reserve a seat; $5 per person Play Area Fee due at check in, applied to a Sanctum gift card according to our policy. If you attend with an advance reservation you will also receive 50 XP to your Loyalty Account!\
Age: 14+
Supplies Needed:
Experienced Players: Miniatures for a 1000 point and/or a 2000 point game, dice, rules, and measuring devices. Players bringing a 2000 point list are suggested to bring a 1000 point version of the list for flexibility in pairing if needed.
New Players: Just a willingness to learn and have fun. If you have any models that you want to use or even just some six-sided dice that you like to roll, feel free to bring them but it is not necessary.
Game Master: Jeremy H.
