This is a scenic, largely flat and circular route meandering through some of most Malta's fertile and verdant countryside, passing through valleys and gentle slopes according us some pleasant panoramic views. Coming just after this week's rainfall, the scenery includes a varied number of interesting features such as wayside chapels, harvested fields, beautiful mediaeval hunting lodges, old palazzos, established olive groves, cart ruts, military fortifications and many other exciting features streams of running water on this trek as well as walk along streams of running water.
After the trek, for whoever is interested, a number of participants go for lunch together. Subject to prior booking I will reserve a table at one of the eateries in the area. Bookings required latest by Friday evening. Preference will be given to those who book beforehand and will be on a first come, first booked basis. Unless booked we cannot guarantee a place.

Good trekking shoes recommended.
Walking sticks (recommended) - will come in helpful
