Sunday Guided Paddle (Beach 75th St.) 2025

For experienced paddlers only.

Enjoy the beautiful Jamaica Bay and experience close observation of wildlife including various shore birds, ospreys, turtles and seals.

With ever changing tides, currents and water levels, each tour is different.

We meet at 10 AM, sharp. Every paddler must bring their own kayak down to the shore. We leave at 10:15 so please be timely. The tour will last one and a half to two hours.

Please be sure to familiarize yourself with our General Rules &  Regulations for all attendees!

We have a number of single seat and double seat kayaks.  The registration process helps us prepare for how many paddlers to expect on a given day so that we can try to have an adequate number of boats, paddles, life jackets & Volunteer Paddle Leaders on hand. 

Our Volunteer Paddle Leader's will try to accommodate all requests for attendees who want to have a "single" kayak to themself and for attendees who would like to have a "double" kayak together, but due to the limited number of boats that we have on hand and the popularity of some of our events we cannot guarantee your seating requests will be able to be accommodated.

Please bring water shoes, water safe clothes, sunscreen, a hat and lots of water.

Reminder - We are a volunteer run non-profit! We tend to get very busy on days with great weather, so please also bring some patience along with your water and sunscreen.

Volunteer Paddle Leaders Discretion

The Volunteer Paddle Leader(s) running an event are focused on safety first and have complete discretion as to who meets or doesn't meet these guidelines. Volunteers on-site make all the decisions and they are final.
