Mild Ulcer presents a new reading series called ꕥ Petri ꕥ! Our inaugural reading is themed around the strange, the unusual, and the surreal, to encourage the Halloween Spirit.
This event is hosted by Jordan Germ and features:
Elizabeth Lepro - is a freelance writer based in New York. You can find her work on foodfortheworm.substack.com.
Rose DuBard - Rose is a recent graduate of Hunter's Creative Writing MFA program. She is originally from South Carolina.
Avery Holmes - is a writer in Ridgewood, Queens. He is working on a scraggly novel.
Sophia Brown - is a writer, collage maker, photographer and artist based in Brooklyn, NY.
Andrew Lewis Conn - has written essays, short fiction, and reviews for The Believer, Film Comment, The Village Voice, Time Out New York, and the Indiana Review among others and attended writers residencies at Yaddo and Ledig House in Hudson, NY.
Mild Ulcer is a DIY press, situated in Queens, NY, focused on the full range of reading, writing, hearing and seeing. They publish zines and facilitate events, gatherings, workshops, readings, and more. The goal is to discuss and create together. You can find more information about us on mildulcer.com.
