Peter Watrous is a Mexican-American musician from Nantucket, MA who graduated from The Guitar Institute of Technology in the Dark Ages, studied with Joe Diorio and Max Roach, played with Archie Shepp, Ray Copeland, Marion Brown and Jimmy Owens, then gave up music and wrote for The Nation, Village Voice and the New York Times. He regained his senses, and started playing music again, which he does regularly at Smalls, Ornithology and Bar Bayeux.
Willis Edmundson is a drummer originally from Boston, MA. He attended Berklee College of Music and graduated in 2018. Now residing in Brooklyn, NY Willis is an active teacher and performer playing with musicians like Dabin Ryu, Mali Obomsawin, Deerlady and others.
Benjamin Young is a bassist born and raised in MA, and graduated from the Berklee College of Music in 2017. Since 2018 Ben has been an active member of the NYC music scene, as a performer, composer, arranger and educator. He can be heard with musicians and groups such as Happi Medium, Dabin Ryu, and Billy Harper, among others.
Chaz Martineau is a saxophonist raised in Phoenix, Arizona, where he graduated with a Master's Degree from Arizona Sate University. Now a resident of Queens, he leads several of his own projects and can also be heard playing with groups like Nested Houses, Happi Medium and Sink Soup, amongst others.
