Igor Lumpert Quartet

Igor Lumpert's music emerges from a symbiosis of musical relationships and personal experiences and reflects his Slovenian roots and his experiences in his current home in Brooklyn. It is music with the power to break down barriers and prejudices. It is characterized by complex rhythmic patterns, intricate melodies, and improvisation. The group draws inspiration from various sources, including classical music, Eastern European folk music, and contemporary jazz.
