Visual artist, Helen Quinn, will lead a FREE, two-part workshop at Art Retail Therapy, 84-26 37th Ave., Jackson Heights, for folks ages 10+ and adults. Participants will first be asked to draw a coat of arms that represents themselves, their family, their culture. We will then form the emblems out of self drying clay using shield-shaped cookie cutters and rolling pins. Once the clay has dried fully, the students will paint their crests and attach a wire/string for hanging.
