Do YOU believe in holding the government accountable for advancing racial equity in government operations?
Do YOU want your opinion to be heard, helping increase community voices in government decision-making?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, these community conversations are for you. Led by Sandoval CoLab through a grant from the NYC Commission on Racial Equity (CORE), our goal is to bring historically excluded communities and voices into New York City’s government decision-making. We want to hear from NYC residents about your experiences with social injustice, and your ideas on improving community well-being.
These conversations are welcome to all. Come as your most authentic self, willing to share and talk amongst community, and we’ll guide the conversation based on CORE’s Community Equity Priorities. We’ll gather all your feedback and share it with CORE.
We welcome participants from any marginalized or underserved identity, of any background.
All participants will be compensated $20 for your time, and stay for a free sound healing session after the event!
Tickets for CORE Community Conversations can be booked here.
