Join the American Federation of Arts for an evening of insight into the art of collecting at UOVO Long Island City.
The program will feature George Wells, art collector and philanthropist, in conversation with Quillan Kaser, Vice President of Account Management, East Coast at UOVO. Moderated by Pauline Forlenza, Director and CEO of the AFA, the discussion will explore how to thoughtfully begin an art collection and the ongoing responsibilities of caring for and preserving works for future generations.
The talk begins at 6:00 PM, followed by private tours and a reception at 6:45 PM. Guests will enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at UOVO’s state-of-the-art facility and how collections are safeguarded and preserved.

About George Wells
George Wells is the Founder of the Wells Group, an interim CFO and Controller consulting firm based in New York City. Beyond his professional achievements, George is deeply committed to philanthropy and the arts. In 2020, he donated a $1 million contemporary art collection to his alma mater, Morehouse College, featuring works by prominent artists such as McArthur Binion, Ivy Haldeman, and Amy Sherald. This generous gift underscores his dedication to supporting artists of color and fostering diversity in the arts.

Quillan Kaser is the Vice President of Account Management, East Coast at UOVO, the nation's leading art storage and logistics provider. Since joining the company in 2018, she has been instrumental in developing and scaling the account management team to support UOVO's significant national expansion. While navigating UOVO's growth they have continued to offer the highest standards of client service through a personalized approach to all clients. Quillan's expertise is grounded in a deep academic background in the arts. She holds a Master's degree in the History of Decorative Arts from the Bard Graduate Center and a Bachelor's degree from Wellesley College. This unique combination of art historical knowledge and client management experience allows her to provide unparalleled support to UOVO's diverse clientele.
